ree people, Saturday evening, it was busy. Seated immediately. Got our drinks and starters quickly. The staff was very friendly and attentive. The food was amazing! We actually ordered way too much, asked for some take out containers and that was no problem at all which is really nice. Been previously to Turtle Bay in the Northern Quarter and loved it. This one is really worth visiting as well. Altogether great experience.

Honestly, this place is one of my favourite places to eat in Manchester. As a vegetarian, I would of imagined that there was limited options for me. I was wrong. There was so many options and everything i had to eat was perfect ( I would recommend the vegan yardbird for those who are Vegetarian like me ) This place is never too busy, even on the weekends. This establishment is a good choice if you are looking for a nice family meal that includes carribean food :)

Honestly, surprisingly good. I didn't expect a lot from a Jamaican chain out here, but the flavors are awesome. More spice than we got at the famous Indian place down the street. They have a great Jamaican take on an English breakfast if you're here in the morning. Or we also came here for an afternoon snack of grilled head-on prawns and side of curried chickpeas -- and that was absolutely bomb. Red Stripe on tap, or you can get tons of fun run cocktails. All paired to the lovely sounds of raggae. Fun decor and atmosphere too, without being too kitschy. And nice staff.

I'm not too big on reviewing a place more than once but the service we received by Jimmy was up there that he has made me think of turtle bay being my go to for drinks even more! It's true what they say, you never really read of how well someone did just the negative so Jimmy hats off to you! Amazing and great leadership skills, though them drinks are more deadly then you said. Food again was amazing, the drinks were what made it! I'm so happy to finally find a place that I can keep going back too, defo made a regular out of me and with service received win win! If you're in Manchester I would defo recommend here, not only in the centre so great location but great atmosphere with food and drinks!

Large London. Loud of varieties of rum cocktails and other drinks available as well. The pit dish I got actually cont'd in s large individual Pyrex bowl all hot and yummy. It was prawn fish and shrimp. Only one large prawn included. The dish was spicy yovthr point you don't need to add extra spices. It started off not seeming it though so be careful, by the end I was glad to have the pita bread slices to help the burn. I'll come back it was good and a great deal on food.

Went there for lunch, as I work nearby and wanted to try something new. There are a few dishes priced at around 7-10 pounds, I went for tomato tortilla and mango prawns wrap. It was very unusual indeed, but tasted nice! The staff was very polite, led us straight away to the table, brought a jug of water without asking ( which was quite handy, as the food IS spicy), and informed about the offer of 241 cocktails. The service was quick, and the lunch taken 30 minutes at most, meaning you don't have to choke on food to rush back.

Came here on a whim with work as we were all booked in to go to Beef and Pudding, in January, only to arrive there and be told as there were 16 of us, they couldn't offer the 50% offer we booked via. Which was fine, but it was more due to the attitude of the staff as to why we walked away and headed to Turtle Bay as a second option. Anyway - what a great second option! I had roasted duck wraps to start which were crispy, hot and really tasty. They were pretty large for a starter so well worth the money, thus sharing them with a friend. I also kicked off with an Espresso Martini like I usually do, and it was a decent one, coming from a regular Espresso Martini drinker... The main meal was my highlight though- after taking about 15 minutes to decide what to chose because the menu is sooooo good (They have a section called 'one pots' and I couldn't pick which Caribbean themed curry pot I wanted as they all sounded fab) I opted for the 'Rastafari Run Down' one pot - a combination of butter beans, sweetcorn, sweet potatoes, coconut milk and all sorts of veggies with brown rice and fried dumplings. It was creamy, spicy and full of flavour, and I felt like I was getting a real mix of veg. Really enjoyed it, and would like to go back and try the other versions. If you didn't want a one pot, they have amazing burger options and jerk pit BBQ choices too. Can't say I have had fried dumplings before but I would recommend them after trying them here - possibly not the healthiest, but have all the taste of regular fluffy dumplings with a crispy coating. Nice atmosphere, attentive staff, and overall great food. I'll be coming back here.
